I spent the next couple days researching the available products (see note below), and finally boiled it down to two. One was the FOFA and the other the EZ-Find. After some deliberation I ordered the EZ-Find. My decision to order it was predicated on the following:

1. The tags for the EZ-Find are much smaller than any other. That’s a big advantage if you’ve got a couple of them in your pocket.
2. Their web page provided more complete details including video instructions for programming the unit and an Acrobat Reader file of the owners manual.
3. The EZ-Find can be programmed to read out in alpha numeric characters, not just numbers. My car key is identified as, “Dons Car Key”. After all, if I can not remember where my key is how in the heck am I going to remember what number is assigned to which item. I could make up a list of numbers and their respective items, but then I’d probably misplace the list.
4. With the FOFA, each tag can call any of the other five. If I had two of them in my pocket and one accidentally set off the other in Church or at the theater it would be pretty Embarrassing. The EZ-Find, on the other hand, has an on off switch on the tag.

After having received the kit, I found the following:

1. Very quick delivery. Just a couple days.
2. Easy to program. I had installed all tags and programmed in about fifteen minutes or so.
3. The tags are light as a feather and do not take up much pocket room.
4. The system works just as good as advertised.

I strongly recommend this product for anyone having a penchant, as I do, for losing their “stuff”.

Note: Yes, I read the review by fellow who claimed to be an ear doctor and a skilled micro-surgeon did not yet possess the dexterity necessary to digitally insert a nickel-sized battery in an appropriately sized hole, could not see a back -lighted screen that is clearly visible to me and could not figure out that one button turned it on and the other two were the Up-Down keys for programming. It appears to me that he might have done better had he read the owners manual before blundering in. It was all in the manual. If nothing else, he could have watched the on-line video which explained it very clearly. Oh, and by the way, I’m a seventy four year old Retirees, I had no problems, how come a skilled micro-surgeon could not do it? Maybe he should be retired and I should take up micro-surgery.

Customer Review: Mirrors

I like the compact nature of the mirror. It offers all the features of a larger, illuminated magnifying mirror in a smaller foot print. Great for travel and the battery / plug combination is perfect.

Very satisfied

I was skeptical about buying this because of the price. I was wrong. The original Charger was eaten by our dog, so I voted for the price I would try. It works just like the original no problem. Nintendo DS Lite is my son favorite toy. I’m so glad I found this charger.

Customer Review: great tool for the Kitchen Aid Mixer

I have different hand and electric juicers in the past, and none has been better than this. It is a bit loud and the cellulose filter supplied will be complemented with a secondary filter after pressing. This is more than easy to use and cleaning.

If you already own / plan to buy a Kitchen Aid stand mixer and squeeze citrus fruits, this is a very worthwhile investment.

Customer Review: Juice Extractor

The Kitchen Aid mixer has all the power, you need to extract juice from a lemon. The only minus is the verticle position causes some juice to your fingers.

I bought this for my bed room to monitor the change of condition. I would say this is a good buy because it has a large LED screen, easy and simple read, nice look, and good quality. This is also good for those people, like me, who don’t like complicate instructions on small thing.

Jura Capresso Cleaning Tabs

Great for cleaning but hard to find in retail stores and when you find it they are expensive. Glad to see I can purchase them directly on Amazon.com I love my Jura Capresso and will do anything to keep it working!!

Customer Review: Awsome metal detector

After researching all the other brands I choose this one because it had a nice digital easy to read display,not a complicated needle type. After a week of using it I bought another one for my wife. The only complaints I have is with the battery life of around 4 to 5 hours of use. I did have one instance when it started cutting on and off with certain movemints but after changing out the batteries I think it will be ok now, I hope. The rod joint isn’t very steady but after wrapping electrical tape around the male part of the shaft it now feels pretty secure. I have found plenty of change and even my telephone lines at around a foot deep! Be very carefull digging in your yard!

Works fine around home. I haven’t tried any “treasure hunting” at the park but it picks out fairly small objects. I do like the armrest. It takes the strain out of holding the pickup out in front.

Customer Review: Western Digital 640GB Caviar SATA Hard Drive

I build computers as a hobby. Why pay for someone else to build one (one size fits does not fit all) when building your own is not too difficult and you can build with quality parts tailored to your own specific needs. Case in point, the WD 640GB HDD. Large hard drive prices are economical right now. Generally speaking, the larger the drive, the less the cost per gigabyte (GB). At Amazon’s prices the WD 640GB drive was about $10 bucks more than the WD Caviar 16 320 GB drive with the same cache. Western Digital has recently color coded their drives: Black (high performance), Blue (mainstream) and Green (no brainer: ecologically friendly-for a hard drive). Where does marketing get these ideas? The Caviar 16 640GB falls into the Blue category. It is amazingly fast and quiet, thanks to its 16 MB cache and 3 Gb/s transfer rate. The technology is interesting in that WD utilized two 320GB platters which gives this drive an edge as compared to say 750 GB drives with similar cache size. The drive itself is nearly silent and the quietest HDD I have used. Its rated over 90MB/sec read and write speeds, which is very fast. Yes there are faster hard drives, but for the money this drive is an excellent choice.
My only complaint: the drive is warranted for 3 years not 5.
Amazon had the lowest price I found, and shipped the drive quickly. Turn around time from placing the order to delivery at my door step was four days. Stable, reliable and excellent price to performance ratio, this drive is a great choice for everyday computing needs.

if you know someone who is not really up-to-date on technology. but, you want to share photos with them. you can give them this device that hooks straight up to their tv. and all they have to do is insert the floppy that you made for them to see all of the pics on it. you can send them new floppys every so often to see new pics instead of dealing with prints and photo albums. perfect for elderly people who have trouble turning pages and flipping through pics. great idea!

Customer Review: I can’t believe this didn’t sell better.

I first saw this photo viewer in Parade magazine and I was excited about finally being able to share my digital photos in a slide show format. Problem was, I never saw it for sale anywhere. And then while researching gifts for my wife, I found it at a deep-discount website for less than a quarter of its original price. I ordered one for her birthday, and as soon as we got it hooked to the television and started looking at the pictures, we were thrilled. Even the pictures from my old Kodak DC 25 looked great on the television screen. The software is easy to figure out, and although it takes a little while to make the albums, it’s more than worth it. I would recommend this item to anyone with a digital camera.
